TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Terms
- Biznet Internet Services (the Services) is intended for registered subscribers who are entitled to utilize and benefit from all Biznet’s services under the terms and conditions stated herein. As such, subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their User ID, and are liable for all obligations arising from the any misuse of subscribers’ user ID and password, including any unauthorized use by a third party.
- Subscribers are responsible for any information, files, data transmitted and received through the Internet via Biznet. Subscribers are obliged to comply with all the rules and regulations set out by the Web Sites, Newsgroup or Network that are accessed by subscribers via the Services. Subscribers must not misuse the Services by any actions that will inflict damage on other parties.
- Biznet reserves the rights to suspend or cancel subscribers’ accesses to the Services, upon any breach of this terms and conditions by the subscribers, including but not limited to a failure to make a timely payment for the Services. In such event, cancelled subscribers will still be liable for all their remaining payment obligations.
- As compensation for the Services, subscribers are obliged to make payment to Biznet including the non-refundable registration and first-month fees payable at the time of registration, and subsequent monthly subscription fees, including if any, additional fees for other services as requested by subscribers, payable before the due date on the 26th day of each month. In the event that Biznet’s engineers have been called upon to attend to fault at subscribers’ premises, Biznet shall charge subscribers for such visits.
- All chargeable fees for the Services shall be based on Biznet’s pre-determined price list, subject to government tax of 11%, and may change from time to time. In the event of price change, Biznet will announce such changes in its Web Site, and subscribers will be notified through their e-mails within 14 days prior to the effective date of change.
- Payment for the Services can be made through Bank transfer, Cash, or Credit Card. For Bank transfer, subscribers are required to fax proof of payment by fax or by e-mail. For Credit Card payment, subscribers need to have credit card with at least three months validity, and sign a credit card authorization letter. Any change in mode of payment should be informed to Biznet by fax or e-mail to billing@biznetnetworks.com.
- For Biznet Metronet 2D, Metronet 3D, Biznet Metronet 2DS, Biznet Metronet 3DS, Biznet Metronet 3DW, and Biznet Metronet 3DN, please be informed that for the two service packages, we will provide Huawei modem type HG824XXX or EG824XXX, that can provide WiFi access with up to 100Mbps of maximum capacity. To get WiFi access more than 100Mbps, you can use direct connection through LAN cable to your PC or laptop, fully supported by technical capacity specification up to 1Gbps. To maximize the performance of your WiFi service with more than 100Mbps of bandwidth capacity, you have to use additional WiFi devices supported by WiFi AC1200 technology or Mesh WiFi technology type AC.
- Biznet is responsible for providing 24 x 7 x 365 Internet connection based on the package requested by subscribers at the time of registration. Subscribers shall have access to any form of supports available at Biznet by calling our Customer Care Call Center, email customer_care@biznetnetworks.com.
- Biznet shall ensure the privacy and confidentiality of subscribers, except when Indonesian law requires the disclosure of such information. While Biznet will do everything in its power to ensure its Services operating in top condition, Biznet does not warrant that its services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Biznet shall not be held responsible for the quality of public telecommunication infrastructure, Internet backbone, and equipment needed for the Services, and other circumstance beyond Biznet’s control. Biznet is not responsible for any losses arising from the disruptions of the Services due to natural disasters, fire, sabotage, war, and other circumstances due to changes in government policy that regulates Biznet’s operating environment.
- Biznet reserves the rights to partially or entirely change the subscription terms and conditions. Biznet will inform subscribers of any such changes through Biznet’s Web Site and/or subscriber’s e-mails.
General Information
- The entire Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws governed by the Republic of Indonesia. When there is an event of dispute between Biznet and Customer related to the Terms and Conditions, both parties will try to settle through consensus in reaching agreement. When agreement is not reached, Biznet has a right to file a claim or lawsuit through Central Jakarta District Court.
- Biznet and Customer agree to waive the provision of article 1266 of the Indonesian Civil Code, so that the termination of the Service shall be final entirely by written notification from the Party that terminates the Service in accordance with this Terms and Conditions of Service.
- If the performance of this Terms and Conditions could not be conducted, hampered or interfered by any act or condition beyond the reasonable control (force majeure), Biznet will give prompt notice to Customer and could be released from the whole or a part of the obligation that shall be made if such performance is caused by such obstacle, or interference. During the period of such non-performance, any and all charges, fees, or other payments arising out of or in relation to any Services which not being performed will be suspended.
- Service Terms and Conditions may change at any time and will be informed on Biznet’s official website.
- The Terms and Conditions are made bilingual: Bahasa Indonesia and English. In the events of inconsistency of interpretation between Bahasa Indonesia and English, the Terms and Conditions used will be in the Bahasa Indonesia format.
