Inter-Island Network for
the Best Connectivity in Indonesia
Seeing the increasing demand for Internet services, as an integrated digital infrastructure company in Indonesia, Biznet is committed to providing the best Internet connection across the entire country. This includes bringing high-quality Internet access not only to Java and Bali but also to other regions such as Sumatra and Kalimantan. Through this, Biznet can offer the public faster and more reliable Internet, enabling them to be more creative and innovative, and to compete effectively in the current digital era.
Since January 2022, Biznet launched its first submarine fiber optic cable network, the Biznet Nusantara Cable System (BNCS-1), connecting networks between the islands of Java, Sumatra, and Bangka. Utilizing the latest Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, this network comprises 24 pairs (48 cores) of fiber optic cables, with each pair capable of transmitting data at 96 x 400 Gbps = 38.4 Tbps, giving BNCS-1 a total capacity of 24 x 38.4 Tbps = 921.6 Tbps.
In 2024, Biznet continues its journey to expand equitable Internet access across Indonesia by progressing with the construction of an submarine fiber optic cable network through the Biznet Nusantara Cable System-2 (BNCS-2). This BNCS-2 will connect the connectivity between Java, Bali, and Kalimantan, spanning approximately 1,000 KM.
